An old barn in the Grasshoppers backyard was nearly torn down, but we decided it had something special that deserved a chance. With its rustic charm, we thought it perfect to hold great antiques and old-time treasures. During renovation, we even discovered love letters from the 1920s in the barn rafters titled “For the Love of Louis,” which makes a fantastic scrapbook. Kim enjoys the hunt of turning trash into treasures, many projects have a new beginning with some paint. Another favorite is the rusty recycled garden statues, created from old tools!
