Monday, May 30, Memorial Day: The American Legion Buffalo Bill Post #347, with the American Legion Buffalo Bill Post #347 Auxiliary, and the Pleasant Valley Community School District invites all to attend the Memorial Day Services. Events commence at LeClaire’s Glendale Cemetery from 10:15-10:30am. The placing of a wreath at the Glendale Cemetery’s Flag Memorial will be followed by services conducted at Bridgeview Elementary School gymnasium, commencing at 11am. Speakers include William Albracht, decorated Army Captain (Vietnam) recipient of 3 Silver Stars and 5 Bronze Stars; and Pastor Ralph Otteson. Music provided by P.V.’s award winning band.
