6pm on Friday & Saturday evenings for your shopping
convenience! Antique Archaeology, Aunt Hattie’s, Artswork,
Mississippi Cottage Antiques, Mississippi River Distilling
Co., The Shameless Chocoholic, and Wide River Winery.
December 3, 6:30pm:
Local Photographer Burt
Gearhart will present "Seasonal Scenery of LeClaire" at the
LeClaire Community Library. It is an “all-ages” slide
presentation and lecture that will inform and entertain.
Burt's prints will also be on display showing Bald Eagles,
rural scenery, the Mississippi River, and the historic
beauty of LeClaire. There is no admission fee, but seating
& Saturday, December 4-5: First Friday & First Saturday,
5:30-8pm. Fun food and cocktail sampling at the Mississippi
River Distilling Co., wine tasting at Wide River Winery,
live music at 7:30pm on Friday at The Faithful Pilot Café &
Spirits with Bobby Ray Bunch, restaurant specials, and many
shops open late.
Friday-Saturday, December 4-6:
Friday 5-8pm, Saturday 11am-8pm, and Sunday 11am-4pm,
Unique Recycled Creations & Gifts will be helping kids
make reindeer food. The girl “Elf on the Shelf” will be
there all weekend helping; the boy “Elf on the Shelf” will
be there Saturday from 12-5pm for pictures and to pass out
goodies to each child!

4-6: Get in the spirit with Christmas in LeClaire
brought to you by WQAD.
You'll find strolling Santas
from around the world, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Have
breakfast with Santa at Happy Joe's on Sat. from 8-10am.
Mrs. Claus will be at Antique Archeology from 11am-2pm
handing out candy canes. Stop at Best Days Photography and
the kids can have their picture taken with one of the
Strolling Santas. (There will be a free download so you can
print their pictures). Kids will receive Christmas in
LeClaire Dollars to buy gifts for their family at Santa's
Gift Shop (Civic Center parking lot) from 11am-4pm Sat. and
Sun. They can experience "The Miracle of Jesus" Sat. from
10am-3pm at the Masonic Lodge (2nd floor). Free trolley
rides throughout the town on Sat. 11am-7pm and Sun.
11am-4pm. Author Blake Ross will be at the Civic Center all
three days, selling and signing his books and prints. Wooden
Shoe maker Luke Travers will also be there Sat. and Sun. and
Chainsaw Carver Pat Doyle will be back creating his awesome
carvings Sat. from 10 to 4. (Carvings will be sold in the
Silent Auction). There will be face painting and a balloon
artist at GraniteXact Sat. from 2-4pm. WQAD will have their
"Selfie Set" on the patio at Mississippi River Distilling
Co. Sat. from 12-3pm. Don't miss Mississippi River
Distilling Company's First Friday and First Saturday events
from 5:30-8pm. Did you enjoy the Yule Log in front of
Mississippi Cottage Antiques last year? Come to the Lighting
Ceremony Fri. at 4:30pm. The Log will be burning again on
Sat. evening. With crafts, Silent Auction, baked goods,
cookie decorating and great shopping at all our unique shops
(and good food at the restaurants) you're sure to find the
perfect gift for those special people in your lives. There's
