Fun food and cocktail sampling at the Mississippi River Distilling Co. with the release of this year's batch of Pride of the Wapsi Strawberry Vodka, wine tasting and live music by H.C. Wallace outdoors at the Wide River Winery, live music at The Faithful Pilot Café & Spirits with LeClaire's own Bobby Ray Bunch starting at 7:30pm, restaurant specials, and many shops open late. The Shameless Chocoholic will have a Fudge Friday special all day - $1 off a block of their fabulous fudge. Between 5-7pm get $5 off a 1 pound box of their truffles and buttercreams. Jones St Java House will upgrade your coffee to the next size when you purchase a wrap or breakfast sandwich on June 5.

Hours Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm; Sunday noon to 5pm. Admission Adults $5; Seniors $4; Ages 6-16 $1; Under 6 and active duty military free. About the Museum Regional History Museum with emphasis on Buffalo Bill, local river history including the Lone Star Steamboat.

    Museum Week Events:

    • June 13, 14 and 20, 21, Noon to 5 p.m. • Lone Star Steamboat Guided Tours (admission
      charged) • Tours will be provided by The Buffalo Bill Museum. The Lone Star Stern Wheeler (built 1868, decommissioned 1967) is the only surviving example in the United States of a wooden-hulled boat built in the traditional Western Rivers fashion. The Lone Star is a National Historic Landmark and is open to visitors at the Buffalo Bill Museum. The boat’s enclosure, The River Pilot’s Pier, has won a significant design award from the State of Iowa for its “green” design in 2008. A new sound system in the River Pilot’s Pier building allows you to experience the sounds of the steamer traveling on the river.
       

    • Sunday, June 14, noon to 5 p.m. Cody Trail Passport • Self-Guided Tour (admission charged) • Hop in your car to enjoy a special, self-guided tour of four fascinating Iowa historic sites along the Cody Trail. Pick up a “Cody Trail Passport Self-Guided Tour” at any of the participating locations to plan your driving adventure. The tour includes the Buffalo Bill Museum in LeClaire, Buffalo Bill Cody Homestead in Princeton, and the Dan Nagle Walnut Grove Pioneer Village and Alexander Brownlie Sod House in Long Grove. Have your passport stamped at each location for a chance to win a gift basket filled with souvenirs from all four historic sites (drop fully-stamped passport in an entry box at any location).

  • Saturday, June 20: The 8th Annual John Boesch Memorial Golf Outing at the Olathea Golf Course to benefit the Buffalo Bill Museum. 18 hole, four-person, best ball tournament with 9am shotgun start. $65/person includes cart, lunch, prizes at every hole, and free photo. There will be Mulligans available for purchase, a cash award on two flights, and a $10,000 hole-in-one prize! Don't golf? You can enjoy lunch for $7 and bid on all the great silent auction items.   • Saturday, June 20, Noon-8pm: The First Annual All We Need Is Love – Music and Arts Gathering commemorating the debut of The Beatle’s song “All You Need Is Love”, which aired on Our World, the first ever international satellite broadcast June 25, 1967, sending a powerful message to over 400 million people. We will gather to reiterate that message and create a movement to bring our innate love to life so we can BE the Love that Changes the World. The main stage is at the Pavilion on the Levee where there will be a variety of musicians playing throughout the day. Music and artists will also be joining with the LeClaire Riverfront Farmers Market offering food for the body and food for the Soul. Scattered throughout downtown LeClaire will be more musicians and artists sharing their talents to provide you with an engaging, inspiring experience. Come join the Fun Connecting in Community with Creativity. Bring dad along for an early Father’s Day outing. Admission is FREE – In lieu of admission we encourage you to tip the musicians.
