August 13-15 - 23rd Annual Tug Fest www.tugfest.com
Tug Fest flexes its muscles when LeClaire, Iowa, takes on the town of Port Byron, Ill., for the tug of war across the mighty Mississippi River. Amazing fireworks light up the sky over the Mississippi and carnival rides for the kids.

October 9-11 - Seasons of LeClaire, Autumn Market Days
When the leaves start turning to fall colors, it's time for Autumn Market Days in LeClaire. Scarecrows line the main street as street musicians entertain. There are live demonstrations, a library book sale and fun for the whole family. Stroll back in time, dining and shopping in LeClaire's historic downtown filled our unique shops.

October 11 - Apple Festival
Apple vendors for the area will hand out samples of fresh apples and cider along with selling specialty items. This year, the festival will feature different flavors of cider, caramel apples, apple treats and a hay rack full of pumpkins, gourds and Indian corn. Displays, demonstrations and entertainment will add to the day's activities, including A.J. The Chainsaw Artist, carriage rides, face painting and much more. The LeClaire Lions Club will sell brats and hot dogs and the Lionesses will offer an assortment of tempting fresh baked apple desserts.

October 24th: Ghost Walk: Do you know a “ghost story” that takes place in LeClaire? Have you heard tales of mysterious sightings?! Plans are in the works to hold a “Ghost Tour” in LeClaire, on October 24th. If you have heard any stories, or would like to volunteer, contact Tourism Manager, Donna Walley at Walleyworld1@gmail.com

November 19-20 - Light Up LeClaire
The unique shops of LeClaire will keep their doors open until 8 p.m. during the Light Up LeClaire event for early Christmas Shopping. Service is our specialty and the shops in LeClaire want you to have a special shopping experience as you prepare for the holiday season. There will be giveaways and most shops will have, hot cider, cookies, hot chocolate and more. Come to LeClaire and experience holiday shopping at its finest.

December 4-6 - Christmas in LeClaire
The charming downtown of LeClaire is transformed into a scene from a Norman Rockwell holiday painting, with its delightful shopping, carriage rides, crafts fair, silent auction, breakfast with Santa at Happy Joes and living nativity scene. You can even have your pet's picture taken with Santa at the River Pup. Christmas in LeClaire is where Santa comes to shop.
